The Senior Case Analyst will report directly to the Director of the Accountability and Audit Unit. The responsibilities of the Senior Case Analyst will require the reviewer to complete case audits and conduct comprehensive case reviews of the Division of Child Protection cases to assess for concerns related to potential willful misconduct and practice deficiencies as it relates to safety. The reviewer will be tasked to flag safety and risks issues that require immediate attention and follow-up by the Division of Child Protection and other related divisions. All audits are linked to the Employment Law Unit and/or the Department of Investigation. Duties of the Senior Case Analyst include, but are not limited to: â€¢ Gather qualitative data in order to complete comprehensive case reviews within specified timeframes utilizing Connections and other data sources â€¢ Assess the quality of practice as it relates to safety and presence of potential willful misconduct through case reviews where directed, accurately documenting events â€¢ Identify critical safety and risk issues in practice and complete written safety/risk alerts which clearly convey findings requiring immediate attention â€¢ Actively participate in the review and development of evaluation tools including inter-rater reliability exercises to ensure fidelity to the case review process across different reviewers â€¢ Document trend summaries following completion of reviews, including performance profiles â€¢ Perform other related duties as well as support other functions of OAA as required
Minimum Qual Requirements
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and four years of full-time, satisfactory professional social services or related experience in organizations dealing directly with children and/or adolescents; such as (but not limited to) child welfare agencies, Day-Care, educational institutions, mental health groups, pediatrics, juvenile justice. At least eighteen months of the required experience must be in a supervisor, administrative, managerial or executive capacity. 2. Education and/or experience equivalent to "1" above. However, all candidates must have at least eighteen months of experience in a supervisory, administrative, managerial, or executive capacity. A Master's degree in Social Work may be substituted for one year of the required general experience.
A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent; preferably a Master’s Degree in the fields of public administration, business management, environmental planning, or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of full time satisfactory professional experience in the field of environmental health and safety.
Experience overseeing large teams of staff and vendors performing multiple different types of work at a fast pace.
